SAN FRANCISCO — Two Memphis Grizzlies players will be representing the team in Friday’s NBA Rising Stars game.
Jaylen Wells and Zach Edey will be playing on Team Chris in the four-team mini-tournament. Their team will play in the first matchup of the night with a chance to advance and play in the Rising Stars championship matchup.
For the semifinal games, the teams will play to 40 points. The championship game will be played to 25 points. The winning team will advance to Sunday’s NBA All-Star game mini-tournament.
Edey and Wells have been two of the NBA’s top rookies this season. Wells has started 49 games while Edey has made 33 starts.
