Mars retrograde can affect your libido, so be easy with yourself if you notice shifts in your sex drive between now and February. It can also make you less assertive, which sounds contrary to your Sagittarius nature but is honestly an excuse to relax. Also on Friday, December 6, the lover planet Venus enters your communicative 3rd House. Coupled wth Mars retrograde, this transit suggests that the first weekend of the month is best relaxing at home with friends or a partner doing something cozy like watching TV, rather than having major discussions. The next day, on Saturday, December 7, Ceres, the asteroid of nurturance, joins Venus in your 3rd House, further encouraging you to unwind with the arts (and it can be as low-brow as you like).

Adding to the coziness of this weekend, also on Saturday, December 7, the dreamy planet Neptune ends its retrograde and goes direct in your 4th House of Home and Family. With this fog lifted, your stress levels should lower, making it easier to relax at home.

Mark Sunday, December 15, down in your calendar. The sky lights up with a Gemini full moon, the moon phase that marks culmination. As this lunation affects your 7th House of Partnership, it could see a new relationship leveling up. However, at times, full moons can leave us on edge and feeling anxious, so it’s ideal to continue to relax at home on this night. On the same date, messenger Mercury ends its retrograde and goes direct, helping soothe out any tension.

The sun enters ambitious Capricorn, on the Winter Solstice, on Saturday, December 21. The winter solstice is the shortest day of the year. It’s a night for intimate gatherings around the fire with family and friends. While you want to carve out plenty of time to relax, know that for the next few weeks the sun is in your opulent 2nd House.
