Some Memphis Grizzlies fans are having trouble accessing the team’s Wednesday season-opening matchup versus the Utah Jazz on FanDuel Sports Network Southeast.
The outage appears to be happening with Xfinity customers who are watching on television.
“We are working diligently with Xfinity to try and resolve the technical difficulties impacting tonight’s Grizzlies telecast,” FanDuel Sports Southeast said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. “Xfinity customers can watch via the FanDuel Sports Network app.”
After a previous deal between Diamond Sports Group and Comcast expired, the two entities reached a distribution agreement that went into effect on Aug. 1. The new agreement allowed Grizzlies games to return to Xfinity for the 2024-25 season.
On Oct. 18, Diamond Sports Group announced that it would be rebranded as FanDuel Sports Network as part of “a broad, long-term commercial partnership.” Terms of the naming rights agreement were not disclosed.
