NEW DELHI: With the players’ retention finalised by all the five franchises for WPL 2025 on Thursday, all eyes will be on the upcoming mini-auction ahead of the third season of the Women’s Premier League.
A total of 71 players, including 25 overseas stars, have been retained across the five franchises, securing each team’s core lineup for the upcoming season.
AUCTION DATE
The date and venue for the WPL 2025 mini-auction is yet to be confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, it is expected to take place next month as the teams have finally submitted their retentions on Thursday.
SCHEDULE
The WPL 2025 is likely to start in the last week of February 2025, and the schedule is also expected to be announced early next year.
