A record-breaking waterpark in Qatar is gaining popularity for its latest attraction: the Icon Tower, which holds both the Guinness World Record for the world’s tallest water slide tower and the most water slides on a single tower.

The structure is 278ft tall and it has 12 different slides descending from the top, as it offers a variety of options for visitors to splash back down. Some of them are The Broiler – a raft slide which is known for its “unexpected twists and steep drops.” Then there is Vertigo – a drop slide that plummets from 250ft, making it the tallest of its kind in the world.

At Meryal Waterpark, a total of 36 mind-blowing attractions sprawl across 280,000+ square meters. You can enjoy some of the tallest, fastest, and most exhilarating waterslides in the world.

The world’s largest water slide tower, Icon Tower has a total of six levels, 12 water slides and custom features. This also includes water-filled stainless steel transition tubs for a unique customisable experience.

The water slide tower is not the only attraction. There is also a new rollercoaster – The Alghazal, which was launched for the first time in June. It includes a series of four-person sit-down spinning cars that rotate as the coaster zips around the track.

For people who are not that adventurous but still enjoy thrill, there are options like private cabana rental. A 6, 8, or even 10, person cabana can be booked for the day as it provides a comfy spot for people to chill by a pool with their friends and family.

In total, there are 53 different rides, making sure all age groups can enjoy something. Even younger kids, who can play in the Oil Splash zone.
