The 7-year-old son of Union Rags went four furlongs in 50.6 seconds, fourth fastest of five at the distance.
Express Train had three wins and a second in spring 2022, then returned with two losses that fall. After missing all of 2023, he finished third in the Kona Gold stakes in April and third in the San Diego Handicap (G2) in July. After three works in August, he was given another break and got back to work in October.
