With such a resume, he is shaping up as a likely favorite for the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint.

Gaming, winner of the Del Mar Futurity (G1), worked Monday for the third time since that triumph. The Bob Baffert charge worked four furlongs at Santa Anita in 48.2 seconds. Gaming is a son of Game Winner, who won three Grade 1 races as a juvenile in 2018 for Baffert, including the Del Mar Futurity and the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.
