Highland Falls, whose Group 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup win last
month qualified him for the Breeders’ Cup Classic, breezed Friday morning at Churchill
Downs as he continues to train for the $7 million race Nov. 2 at Del Mar.

Trained by Brad Cox for breeder-owner Godolphin, the
4-year-old Curlin colt went five furlongs in 1:01.6 on the fast main track. In
his first two breezes after his Sept. 1 victory at Saratoga, he worked
half-miles in 49.8 and 48.6 seconds.

Highland Falls was one of the 27 graded-stakes winners who
had timed works Friday in the U.S. and Canada.

Highland Falls (Curlin), a Grade 1 winner (2024
Jockey Club Gold Cup), worked five furlongs in 1:01.6 at Churchill Downs on
Friday morning. It was the eighth fastest of 20 works at the distance. His
