BRUNSWICK, Ga. – For the final time in the 2024-25 fall season, the 19th ranked College of Coastal Georgia women’s golf team returns to action at Grasslands Country Club in Lakeland, Fla. for the SEU Fire Fall Invitational.
Last time out, it was a ninth place finish at the Invite at Innisbrook in Palm Harbor which saw the team set a new school record for lowest round in a tournament shooting 294 in the second round.
Madelyn Taylor has once again led the team for the most part this season, consistently shooting in the mid to low 70’s, while Elise Forberg, Carlin Paulk, and Claire Wickes have all shot low rounds for the Mariners as well.
Joining the Mariners and tournament host Southeastern is St. Thomas, Indiana Wesleyan, SCAD-Savannah, Texas Wesleyan, Florida College, Ave Maria, Keiser, and New College of Florida.
The SEU Fire Fall Invitational is scheduled for 36 holes on Monday followed by 18 holes on Tuesday. Fans can follow live scoring of the event here.
