NORMAN – Oklahoma women’s golf opens its spring slate at the Paradise Invitational in Boca Raton, Fla., at Osprey Point Golf Course on Feb. 3-4.
The spring-opening lineup card for the Sooners features juniors Savannah Barber and MaKayla Tyrrell, along with senior Reagan Chaney, sophomore Gracie Mayo and freshman Audrey Rischer.
LAST TIME OUT
The Sooners concluded their fall slate at the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate in October, finishing in eighth place at 35-over. The Oklahoma lineup was led by Tyrrell, who tied for 22nd and tallied a 6-over 219.
Mayo (T29, +19) carded a 232 in the fall finale, while Barber and Chaney both recorded 11-over 224s to share 33rd. Rischer rounded out the OU lineup, tying for 51st (17-over, 230).
THE FIELD (15 Teams)
BYU, Cincinnati, Denver, East Carolina, FIU, Florida Atlantic (Host), Kentucky, Kennesaw State, Mercer, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, No. 21 Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Texas Tech, and Tulane.
THE COURSE
All three rounds will be played at Osprey Point Golf Course (par 72, 6,204 yards).
FORMAT
The two-day tournament will include 36 holes on Monday and conclude with 18 holes on Tuesday. Each day will tee off with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. CT.
