LONG BEACH, Calif. – Long Beach State Women’s Golf will get right back to work, taking part in the Bruin Wave Invitational co-hosted by UCLA and Pepperdine from Valencia Country Club on February 24-25.
Long Beach State finished their own home tournament this past Monday at the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic, and continues the spring season at the Bruin Wave.
The field includes the co-hosts, No. 14 Arizona, two other teams in the Top 30 in Cal and Baylor as well as Cal State Fullerton, New Mexico, New Mexico State, Rutgers and Santa Clara. Additionally, Nihon University from Japan will be participating as a full team as well. Tee times are scheduled for 7:30 a.m. each day from Valencia Country Club in Santa Clarita.
Jasmine Leovao has finished no-lower than 11th in a tournament this season with five other top five finishes in Long Beach State’s competition in 2024-25, and the junior will once again lead the lineup after a 2-under par 211 at the Alice and John Wallace Invitational.
Janae Leovao will play second after finishing in a tie for 14th from Palm Desert, finishing the tournament +2 at 215.
Junior
Madison Le will play third for the Beach while sophomore

Making her debut in the lineup will be
Isabelle Olivas-Lowell. The sophomore joined the Beach in the spring and after a first round, had a solid tournament as an individual at the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic, earning a spot in this coming week’s action.
Hannah Jugar will play as an individual for Long Beach State.
