“Our score did not indicate it today, but I felt like we played better golf,” said Head Coach Scott Moe ’95. “The wind made the course a little bit more challenging and the speed of the greens were a little faster. It was a nice round today by Riley. We got off to a great start and tomorrow we need to be more comfortable with having early success. The fall season goes by very quick, we finish up our five weeks of competition with our final round tomorrow and looking forward to a great end of the season.”
Individually, four athletes from St. Catherine are in the top five, with Kyra Venne shooting a 151 (72-79) through the first two rounds. Zebroski is five shots out of the top 10 after Sunday’s round.
The Gusties tee off first tomorrow morning, starting with Piepkorn at 10 a.m. to finish their fall season.
