STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Saint Joseph’s women’s golf team capped the fall portion of its 2024-25 schedule on Friday as the Hawks placed fifth at the Wagner Fall Classic.
How It Happened
• Individually, Hanna Mitchell paced St. Joe’s as she tied for 17th place with a score of 86.
• Allie Gesztesi shot 90 and tied for 26th.
• Elora Walker shot 92 and placed 29th.
• Olivia Cooper finished 30th with a score of 95.
• Ava Tornello rounded out the five-person squad with a score of 100 and finished 31st.
• As a team, the Hawks shot 363 to place fifth overall.
• Wagner won the team title with a score of 312.
• The Seahawks’ Maria Fernanda Calleja won medalist honors with a score of 74.
• The Wagner Fall Classic was held at the par-72 La Tourette Golf Course (5,477 yards).
