PHOENIX – The UT Arlington women’s golf team is gearing up for Utah Valley’s three-day Wigwam Preview which marks the first of six regular season events of the spring for the Mavericks.

After three months off from competition, UTA wrapped up the fall season with a total of 13 rounds of par or better as junior Nitisha Manikandesh led the way with six. The Plano, Texas native also sits at the top with a 73.0 scoring average for the 2024-25 season so far with a low-round 69 coming from final round of the fall at Little Rock’s Diamante Intercollegiate (Oct. 22).

Freshman Tarini Bhoga has had quite the start to her first year as a Maverick, compiling three rounds of par or under, a 74.6 average – second best on the team -, and a top 10 finish at UTA’s very own Maverick Classic earlier in September.

Head coach Catherine Matranga will bring the following four-player lineup to Arizona:
