LOS ANGELES – The UCLA women’s golf program has received signed Grants in Aid (GIA) from four future Bruin student-athletes,
Maye Huang,
Kacey Ly,
Zoe Sprecher and
GaEun Athena Yoo, as announced Thursday by head coach
Alicia Um Holmes.
“Half of our eight players this season are seniors, so this recruiting class was particularly important for our team to reload our roster,” Um Holmes said. “We are adding four 2025’s to the squad: GaEun Athena Yoo, Maye Huang, Kacey Ly and Zoe Sprecher. They are an incredible group of young women – talented, driven, amazing students and feisty competitors. Athena and Maye are joining us from out of state, Georgia and Texas, respectively, and Kacey and Zoe live here locally. I see these four instantly injecting good energy to our team’s bubble and wouldn’t be surprised if all of them break into the starting lineup in Fall 2025. Coach Erynne and I couldn’t be more pleased to officially welcome them to our UCLA golf family!”
