Boise State opens the season at the Golfweek Fall Challenge, hosted in Pawleys Island, S.C., Sept. 8-10. This will mark the Broncos’ first competition in South Carolina since 2015. On Sept. 23-25, the Blue and Orange will compete at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic for the second-straight year. Last season, the squad placed fourth, with Teal Matsueda and Leia Chung finishing in the top 20.
The Broncos head to Tulsa, Okla., for the Dale McNamara Invitational on Oct. 14-15, then close the fall at The Clash at Boulder Creek, held in Boulder City, Nev., Oct. 20-22. At last year’s Clash, the team set the program record for lowest three-round score at 858 (-6).
The spring campaign begins with Mountain Classic Match Play, held in Palm Desert, Calif., Feb. 10-12. The Broncos remain in Palm Desert for the Alice and John Wallace Women’s Golf Classic on Feb. 15-17. Boise State opens March in Jacksonville, Fla., playing at the Momentum Transportation UNF Classic on March 3-4. This is Boise State’s first trek to Florida since playing in the Canes and Cardinal Classic in 2008.
The final three tournaments will be played in California, starting with the Silicon Valley Showcase, hosted in Millbrae on March 24-25. The regular season concludes in Napa with the Chevron Silverado Showdown, with the Broncos playing April 7-9. Boise State returns to Palm Desert on April 15-17 for the 2025 Mountain West Championship.
Downs and the Broncos welcome back six key contributors from the 2023-24 roster, including Chung, Matsueda and Hannah Lim, who each appeared in all 10 tournaments. Also returning are Annie Buffolino, Macee Greenwood and Jillian Hui, who all played multiple tournaments and collected victories in Mountain Classic Match Play. Boise State filled out the roster with transfers Emily Cadwell and Brooke Patterson, both Treasure Valley natives, and Zoe Parker, who led Bishop Gorman HS to multiple state runner-up finishes.
