NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Belmont women’s golf team announces the signing of Jackie Henderson for the 2025-26 season.
Henderson is a Nashville native who prepped at Battle Ground Academy in Franklin. Ranked #8 in Tennessee’s 2025 Class by Junior Golf Scoreboard, Jackie qualified for five state championships, earning top-12 finishes in all of them.
During her senior season at BGA, she recorded a scoring average of 72.8, had two wins, and finished in a tie for fifth at the state championship last month. For her efforts, she earned a spot on the Tennessean’s All-Midstate Golf Team.
On the junior golf circuit, she posted four top-10 finishes this past summer, including a sixth place finish at the Emma Talley Girls Tradition.
“I am very excited that Jackie will be joining our program,” said Olivia Jordan. Belmont’s head coach. “She has the drive, talent and enthusiasm to be successful here and make an immediate impact. Jackie is a great fit for our program.”
Henderson joins fellow Tennessean Lauren Davis in the 2025-26 signing class for Belmont.
The women’s golf team wrapped up their fall season last month. In four events, they posted three top-six finishes. They will kick off the spring season on March 3-4 at the Huntsville.org Intercollegiate in Alabama.
