Saint Joseph’s women’s basketball takes flight a week from today, set to begin a nine-day overseas trip to Italy and Croatia starting on Saturday, August 3.
The Hawks land in Venice on Sunday morning, spending the day sightseeing and touring the city. That night, the team will travel to Croatia, spending the next six days touring throughout the cities of Opatija, Split and Dubrovnik as well as visiting Plitvice National Park.
While in Croatia, St. Joe’s will play in two games against local competition. The Hawks take on the Croatian All-Stars on Wednesday, August 7 in Split before travelling to Dubrovnik on August 9 to play Croatia Select.
The team will then have a final day in Dubrovnik at the beach before heading back home on August 11.
Throughout the trip, the Hawks will have the opportunity to learn and experience the local customs and traditions, take part in memorable experiences and adventures as well as develop the bond and chemistry of the 2024-25 team both on and off the court.
