WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University men’s and women’s golf teams are set to make the trip to Larchwood, Iowa for the Sioux Falls Invitational on Monday, October 14 and Tuesday, October 15 at The Falls Golf Course.
The Winona State University women’s team is coming off a 14th place finish at the Grace Shin Invitational with junior Kessa Mara leading the way for the Warriors carding a two-round score of 148 (+8), finishing in 31st place. At the Sioux Falls Invitational, on the women’s side there will be ten NSIC teams competing.
The Warrior men’s squad comes off a strong sixth place finish at the 2024 Regional Preview with WSU sophomore Diego Olano carding a 215 (+2) through the three-round event. Olano was the top NSIC finisher, earning him NSIC Golfer of the Week honors. At the Sioux Falls Invitational, on the men’s side there will be ten teams competing, all teams being from the NSIC, with UMary, Sioux Falls, and Augustana all having two teams competing.
