Football teams don’t succeed unless they control the line of scrimmage and Big Horn did a great job in that regard in 2024 as they won the 2A State Championship. Will Taylor has been a 3-year starter for the Rams on the offensive and defensive line and has signed with Carroll College in Helena, Montana.
Taylor was an All-State Lineman in 2A this part season and Big Horn put up some solid numbers on offense. He is 5-11 and 290 pounds and did a fantastic job on the O-line as the Rams were 2nd in 2A in passing and 4th in rushing.
On defense, Taylor made 18 tackles in 2024 but more importantly, the Big Horn defense was ranked #1 in 2A. It’s a testament to the fortitude of the Ram’s bulk athleticism and execution on defense in 2024.
Taylor also competes in track and field and at the 2A State Outdoor meet last season, he placed 8th in the discus with a toss of 125-0 and 8th in the shot-put, going 40-07. At last season’s State Indoor Track Meet, Talor was 14th in the 3A shot at 40-5.
Carroll College is an NAIA institution that competes in the Frontier Conference.
