While the Georgia native’s tendency to wear his thoughts on his sleeve may not be for all, for most Boston fans, Jaylen Brown is the perfect Celtics star. Not only has he helped lead the Celtics to an NBA title, he has elected to put down roots in the city, and beyond that, work hard to make it a better place.
He is also vocal in attacking inequality in his community and beyond, echoing the work of Boston legends of the past in his own, unique way. To try to get a handle on exactly why Brown is such an ideal Celtic, the hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast, Jack Simone and Sam LaFrance, took a closer look on a recent episode of their show.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about Brown, his fit in Boston, and plenty more.
