On Wednesday evening, 247Sports updated its 2025 and 2026 player rankings, and multiple Cyclone basketball commits saw an increase in their rankings while future recruiting targets also saw their ranking improve.
Jamarion Batemon was the biggest mover in the updated rankings by 247Sports. After being just outside of the top 50 in the previous rankings, Batemon is now up to No. 41 following his strong summer on the Adidas 3SSB circuit.
Batemon proved himself as a dangerous shooter throughout the summer, making better than 41 percent of his attempts from beyond the 3-point line. On the defensive side, Batemon is a tenacious on-ball defender who uses his length well to generate steals and bother ballhandlers.
