As the 2024-25 NBA season gets underway, the league’s stars will shine their brightest.
Year after year, the amount of talent across the league grows and the game’s biggest stars drive the conversation. It’s hard to quantify the importance of the biggest names in the game, but front offices certainly try with the lucrative contracts earned by players across the league.
The list of highest-paid players in the NBA is certainly a who’s who of names, with each member of the top four having at least one league MVP trophy to their name. From there, the list is complete with award winners, rising stars and all-time greats.

Warriors superstar Stephen Curry will be the NBA’s highest-paid player for an eighth consecutive season. Curry, 36, is set to earn just shy of $56 million during the 2024-25 campaign, which will bring his career earnings over $400 million.
Curry is one of five players who will earn more than $50 million in 2024-25, the others being Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid, Denver’s Nikola Jokic, and Phoenix’s duo of Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal. With Devin Booker tied for sixth, the Suns have three of the six highest-paid players in the league this season.

LeBron James, who is the oldest player in the league for a second straight year, ranks 14th among the highest-paid players with a $48.7 million salary. 23-year-old Anthony Edwards is the youngest player on the list and 14-year veteran Kyrie Irving rounds out the top 25.
