I won’t lie. It may still take me awhile to get used to the Detroit Lions frequently being featured in the weekly prime time slots. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the extra energy surrounding the game and (some of) the attention that is tied to playing on Thursday, Sunday, or Monday nights—especially at home inside of Ford Field.
And while I don’t like waiting around even longer for the Lions to play, I do enjoy throwing Red Zone on the TV and kicking back to enjoy some stress-free football. If you aren’t a fan of that option, then there are plenty of other games to tune into.
In the 1 p.m. ET slate you have an early season NFC South matchup between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons. Over in Wisconsin the undefeated Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers face off for the first time this year, and a banged up Los Angeles Rams team is on the road against the Chicago Bears.
That brings us to today’s Question of the Day:
My Answer: I am going with this week’s “Sunday Night Football” matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and the Buffalo Bills. At 1-2, the Ravens haven’t gotten off to the start they had hoped for, while the Bills look like one of the best teams in the NFL early in the year.
