MELBOURNE, Australia– After taking down world No. 2 Iga Swiatek, American Madison Keys, ranked No. 19, has an opportunity to win her first Grand Slam final at the 2025 Australian Open.
To do so she’ll have to take down No. 1 ranked Aryna Sabalenka, who is in pursuit of her third consecutive Australian Open title, and fourth career Grand Slam. The match is set for 3:30 a.m. Eastern on ESPN.
Several streaming services will broadcast the match live, and you can watch on Fubo (free trial), DirecTV Stream (free trial), Sling (promotional offers) and ESPN+.
Swiatek, a five-time Grand Slam champion herself, had Keys on the ropes in their semifinal matchup, but the 29-year old American saved match point to make her way into the final.
Sabalenka cruised to the final, winning her semifinal in straight sets over No. 11 Paula Badosa.
Keys’ victory prevented the first ever Grand Slam final between long-time rivals Sabalenka and Swiatek. But the Keys vs. Sabalenka matchup makes up for it in hard-hitting entertainment value alone.
