Where is Jayson Tatum in the NBA’s 2025 Most Valuable Player race so far after a hot start with the Boston Celtics? The St. Louis native might be in the process of making the strongest argument left for him to win the league’s MVP this season to date, but he has some seriously stiff competition to contend with as well.
From the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the Phoenix Suns’ Kevin Durant, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Anthony Davis, and perhaps the early leader, Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic who have also made some very solid cases to win the award. The host of the semi-eponymous “Hoops Tonight with Jason Timpf” podcast recently took a closer look at where he sees each in the MVP race early in the season.
