Quarterback Jalen Hurts became the fifth Eagle to be named to this year’s NFL Top 100 list.
Hurts checked in at No. 15 this year following his second Pro Bowl appearance last season.
“I think he’s a really smart player. He has a great feel for this game.”
It didn’t take long for Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore to see what Hurts brings to the table for this team.
The fifth-year quarterback will look to continue the success he’s had early in his career after another strong campaign in 2023. Hurts set single-season franchise records in total yards (4,463) and total touchdowns (38), while logging career-highs in passing yards (3,858) and passing touchdowns (23).
“Yeah, I’ve been fortunate to be with Jalen now coming on my fourth year. I think he has tremendous energy, tremendous work ethic. You know, just like all of us, everything that he feels like he can continue to work on, he will do. This is a guy that obviously has brought us tremendous success since he’s been our starting quarterback, has played a tremendously high level. I have tremendous confidence in him that whatever he has to do to continue being an MVP candidate, he will do.” Howie Roseman said about Jalen’s development as a leader entering Year 5.
Hurts joins teammates DeVonta Smith (No. 90), Saquon Barkley (No. 86), Lane Johnson (No. 41), and A.J. Brown (No. 21) on this year’s list that was voted on by players around the league.
The final rankings for the 2024 NFL Top 100 list will be revealed live on Friday, August 2 at 8 PM on NFL Network. – Written by Liam Wichser
