Kate Martin and her Laces BC are set to play the Mist in the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled, at 7:30 p.m. CT Monday, Feb. 24. TNT will broadcast the game.
The former Iowa women’s basketball star and member of the new WNBA expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries, is one of six players on the Laces’ roster. The team is coached by Andrew Wade.
Entering Saturday, Martin was averaging 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals through the team’s 5-3 start.
Unrivaled games are played in Miami, Fla.
