Kate Martin and her Laces BC team will play the Lunar Owls in the new 3-on-3 women’s basketball league, Unrivaled, at 7:15 p.m. CT Friday. TNT will have the telecast.
The former Iowa women’s basketball star and member of the new WNBA expansion team, the Golden State Valkyries, is one of six players on the Laces’ roster. The team is coached by Andrew Wade.
Martin is averaging 10.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals through the team’s 4-0 start.
Unrivaled games are played in Miami, Fla.
