Even though Black Friday isn’t for another two weeks, many stores have already started their sales for the shopping holiday.
Major retailers across the state are offering up items on sale ahead of Black Friday to help customers make the most of the holidays. As many stores no longer open on Thanksgiving, the early sales allow people to spend time with families on Thursday and shop ahead.
Here are the stores with early sales and their hours for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.
Is Walmart open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Walmart stores will close for Thanksgiving and be open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. Online sales for the store began on Nov. 11. The in-store early sale runs through Sunday, Nov. 17.
Will Target open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Target stores will close on Thanksgiving and open at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
The retailer announced it would offer almost two months straight of deals for customers beginning Nov. 1 and ending Dec. 24. Each day will have a “Deal of the Day” offer for Target Circle members.
Are Home Depot, Lowe’s and Ace Hardware open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Both Home Depot and Lowe’s will be closed for Thanksgiving and will reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday.
Lowe’s has not announced specific dates for its Black Friday sales, but many of its larger items are already discounted ahead of the holidays. Home Depot began its Black Friday sales on Nov. 6, and they will continue through Dec. 4
Ace Hardware stores are independently owned and operated, so hours vary by location. The company did say the majority of the stores would close for Thanksgiving.
Is Costco open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Costco stores will be closed on Thanksgiving and will open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Black Friday. Costco has online and instore Black Friday deals leading up to the holiday that began on Nov. 1.
Is Kohl’s open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Kohl’s announced it would close stores for Thanksgiving and open them at 5 a.m. for Black Friday.
The store will have its “Black Friday Week” from Nov. 24 to 29. All customers can take 15% off qualifying purchases and can earn $15 Kohl’s Cash for every $50 spent through the week.
Are TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
TJ Maxx, Marshall’s and HomeGoods will close on Thanksgiving and open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday.
As these stores offer savings year-round, they tend to keep their Black Friday sales to the holiday.
Is JCPenney open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
JCPenney stores will open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday. The stores will close on Thanksgiving.
In 2023, Black Friday sales went from Nov. 22 to Dec. 1, so it is possible the store will have another weeklong sale event.
Are Cabela’s open on Thanksgiving, Black Friday?
Cabela’s will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. It will also open at 5 a.m. on Black Friday and close at 9 p.m.
