So many people have their eyes on Paige Bueckers for National Player of the Year, but Lauren Betts, Ta’Niya Latson and Aneesah Morrow would like a word.
After picking up a home win on Wednesday, Lauren Betts and the UCLA women’s basketball team is back on the road Sunday for the start of a two-game trip.
The third-ranked Bruins (25-1, 13-1 Big Ten) kick off their road trip with a 2 p.m. ET tip-off against Iowa (18-8, 8-7) at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
It is the first meeting between both programs since 2017, when UCLA beat Iowa 78-65 in the Cancun Challenge.

The Bruins are currently projected as the top overall seed in both Charlie Creme’s latest NCAA Tournament projection for ESPN and last Sunday’s first unveiling of the top 16 seeds by the selection committee.
Iowa will look for its second win over a top-10 team in its last five games after beating then-No. 4 USC at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Feb. 2. Lucy Olsen leads the Hawkeyes in scoring at 17.8 points per game and has finished with at least 25 points in each of her last three games.

Sunday’s Big Ten women’s basketball matchup between UCLA and Iowa will not be broadcast on linear TV.
Instead, it will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, NBC’s subscription streaming service.
The Bruins and Hawkeyes are scheduled to tip off at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 23 from Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City, Iowa.
