The Oregon State Beavers host the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday night in their second consecutive matchup against a Big Ten opponent at Reser Stadium. The first did not go well.
The Beavers suffered a 49-14 loss to ninth-ranked Oregon last weekend, as the Ducks broke open a one-score game by reeling off 27 unanswered points in the second half. After surrendering points on eight of the 10 drives it faced in the defeat, the Oregon State defense is looking for a resurgent performance against Purdue, pledging to get its “swagger back.”
