The Golden State Warriors are 11th in the Western Conference with a 23-23 record. Steve Kerr’s team started the season strong but has faded out as the weeks have worn on. The Warriors‘ inability to generate high-level offense in the fourth quarter has been a recurring issue, as has their inability to control games when in a winning position.
These struggles aren’t new for Golden State. They’re the same issues that limited the team’s success last season. As such, the Warriors are expected to be active heading into the trade deadline and then again during the summer. For now, though, Kerr will likely have to improve the team’s fortunes with the rotation at his disposal.
During a recent episode of NBA Today, Malik Andrews, Richard Jefferson and Chiney Ogwumike discussed the Warriors’ current situation and what has led to their struggles. The trio also offered their thoughts on how Kerr could potentially turn things around for his .500 team.
