Australia’s lead spinner, Nathan Lyon was seen endorsing Cricket Australia’s special initiative as he came in to bat on Day 3 at the Gabba in the third Test of the Border Gavaskar Trophy.

Australia came into the Gabba Test with the series level at 1-1 and Lyon came in to bat during the first innings after the batter put themselves in a comfortable position at 423/8.

As the 37-year-old from New South Wales came into bat at 10 for Australia, he was seen with a special sticker sported on his bat which had ‘A Sport For All’ written on it in English and braille.

This is as a part of Lyon’s commitment to CA’s pathway for cricketers with a disability to encourage the 21% Aussies who are visually impaired to play cricket.

The bowler has also donated three of his bats with signatures of Indian and Australian players on it for an auction to raise funds for the National Cricket Inclusion Championship.
