Following UNC basketball’s loss to Florida, head coach Hubert Davis discussed the Tar Heels’ performance in the Jumpman Invitational.
The North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team plays the UCLA Bruins on Saturday afternoon (3 p.m., CBS) in the CBS Sports Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Coming off a loss to No. 7 Florida (11-0), the Tar Heels (6-5, 1-0 ACC) are in desperate need of a big win before flipping the calendar to 2025.
UNC, which is 0-4 against ranked teams through 11 games, will try to get over the hump against No. 18 UCLA (10-1). The Heels are 11-3 in the all-time series against the Bruins, including six straight victories.
