The Mavericks (16-8), riding the momentum of a seven-game win streak, are set to visit the Thunder (18-5) at the Paycom Center on Tuesday night.
This matchup marks the second clash between these Western Conference contenders this season. In their initial encounter on November 18, Dallas edged out Oklahoma City in a tightly contested game, claiming a narrow two-point victory.
Oklahoma City, however, has been in stellar form since that loss. They’ve secured seven wins in their last eight games, demonstrating their dominance across the conference.
Their latest triumph came in a 119-109 road victory over the New Orleans Pelicans, capping off a productive stretch that includes wins against the Utah Jazz and Toronto Raptors.
Next up for OKC is a tough test against a Mavericks squad that has turned their season around after a rocky start. Following just five victories in their first 12 games, Dallas has since gone on an impressive run, winning 11 of their last 12 matchups, including a streak of seven consecutive victories since November 26.
The Mavericks solidified their climb to the top of the Western Conference standings with a commanding 125-118 triumph over the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena on Saturday night.
