Eagles look like team to beat in NFC, Bills beat Lions in potential SB preview
Mackenzie Salmon breaks down the top storylines from Week 15 in the NFL.
Sports Seriously
The Jets (4-10, third in AFC East) found a way to earn their first win since Halloween with a 32-25 late comeback victory over the Jaguars in Jacksonville last weekend.
Gang Green’s four-game losing streak came to halt in large part to the vintage Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams duo, with the latter having all nine catches for 198 yards and two touchdowns in the second half of their fourth win of the season.
Even in what’s been a lost season, the Jets can still play spoiler against their final three opponents — Rams, Bills and Dolphins — as all three are actively vying for either a division title or spot in the postseason.
With the come-from-behind rally win against the Jaguars, the Jets enter Week 16 with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, per Tankathon.com. They’re one spot ahead of the Bears, who are also 4-10, but are one spot higher based on strength of schedule (SOS) this season.
On the other sideline, the Rams (8-6, first in NFC West) come into this matchup with a slim lead over the Seahawks (8-6) and Cardinals (7-7) in their division, owning the tiebreaker over Seattle based on head-to-head winning percentage with two important matchups against their division mates in the final two weeks of the season to decide who will win the NFC West.
Can Gang Green throw a wrench in the Rams plans and pull off the upset at home, or will Los Angeles continue to roll and extend its winning streak to four games?

Rams 28, Jets 24: There’s no denying the Jets offense has looked significantly better since a 31-6 blowout loss in the desert against the Cardinals in Week 10. Despite being back at home, this is one of the toughest opponents Gang Green will face in quite some time. The Rams are red hot, the new leaders of the NFC West after winning six of their last eight heading into their Week 5 bye at 1-4.
Aaron Rodgers and Co. should have continued success on offense, but ultimately the Rams will be able to do just enough to hang on here and further cement their chances of making the postseason as they inch closer to an NFC West crown.
Odds: Rams by 3.5 points
Over/Under: 46.5 points
Moneyline: Jets (+155), Rams (-190)
