Doc Rivers, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis react to Bucks loss to Celtics
Doc Rivers, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis react to the Bucks’ 111-105 loss to the Celtics on Dec. 6, 2024.
The Milwaukee Bucks had a perfect 4-0 record in Emirates NBA Cup pool play, but they also had favorable matchups in Group B.
Now, the tournament gets tougher. The knockout stage begins as the Bucks (12-11) host the Orlando Magic on Tuesday night at Fiserv Forum. The winner moves on to the semifinals in Las Vegas.
The Magic are 17-9 despite missing Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero due to torn oblique muscles. Orlando received the only wild-card bid in Eastern Conference pool play.
Khris Middleton returned to the Bucks’ rotation last weekend and has averaged 11 points in his first two games.
With neither the Boston Celtics nor the Cleveland Cavaliers making the knockout round, the Bucks and Magic have a golden opportunity to make a deep run in the in-season tournament. The winner faces the New York Knicks-Atlanta Hawks winner in Saturday’s semifinals.
Here’s how to watch and listen to Tuesday night’s game:
