No. 22 NC State travels to Kentucky to take on Louisville as a part of the Jimmy V Women’s Classic.
It’s been an up-and-down start to the season for the Cardinals, who currently sit at 6-4. Louisville did, however, snap a two-game losing streak with a 96-57 win over Grambling State Thursday. The Cardinals will look to add their fourth home win of the season Sunday.
No. 22 NC State has also been on a rollercoaster in the early stages of the 2024-25 season. With that said, the Wolfpack is in the midst of a three-game win streak. The Wolfpack seek to have a more collective offensive effort Sunday than in their win over Davidson Wednesday, in which they recorded only one assist.
Named after the late college basketball coach and broadcaster, the Jimmy V Classic is the marquee event of Jimmy V Week, a week-long initiative that seeks to raise funds for cancer research.
