Wells Fargo’s global operations business will pull out of offices in Hillsboro, Portland and Salem in 2025 as the company consolidates operations elsewhere in the U.S. The pending cuts follow more than 400 layoffs since September 2022 at Wells Fargo’s Hillsboro offices.
The company has more than 1,000 workers at the three sites but it’s unclear how many of those people will lose their jobs. The global operations business, which is separate from Wells Fargo bank branches, supports consumer and commercial banking and other corporate functions.
