Just F Y I, 3-for-3 as a juvenile in 2023 but 0-for-3 last year, returned to the work tab for trainer Bill Mott.
The 4-year-old Justify filly, who was the 2023 champion 2-year-old filly, breezed three furlongs in 38.6 seconds Wednesday morning at Payson Park, third fastest of five at the distance.
It was Just F Y I’s second work since a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 Acorn on June 7. She started her year with second-place finishes in the Ashland (G1) and Kentucky Oaks (G1).
She resumed training New Year’s Day with a three-furlong breeze in 38.0 seconds.
Just F Y I was one of six graded-stakes winners with published works Wednesday.
