Carson’s Run worked at Belmont Park on Wednesday ahead of an expected start in the Grade 1 Hollywood Derby.
The 3-year-old colt trained by Christophe Clement breezed four furlongs in 50.0 seconds, 38th fastest of 66 at the distance.
Carson’s Run won the Jockey Club Derby (G3) last out for his second graded-stakes win of the year. The Cupid colt also won the Saratoga Derby (G1) and was second two starts back in the Nashville Derby (G3) at Kentucky Downs.
Carson’s Run was one of seven graded-stakes winners with published works Wednesday.

It was the fastest of three works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going four furlongs at Woodbine. In his last start, he placed fifth in the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic (G1) going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Belmont at the Big A on Sept. 28 for trainer Mark Casse.
