A couple of familiar names are once again expected to compete for the WCC title.
Saint Mary’s and Gonzaga earned the top two seeds in this year’s conference tournament after finishing 17-1 and 14-4 in WCC play, respectively. The Gaels’ only conference loss came against San Francisco on Feb. 6, and they will enter the bracket on a seven-game winning streak.
Either the Gaels or Bulldogs have won the tournament in each of the past 16 seasons. Can another WCC team crash the party?

The first three rounds of the 2025 WCC basketball tournament will be available to stream on ESPN+.
