The Brooklyn Nets were an interesting time last season as they were expected to be firmly in the play-in tournament race with an outside chance of capturing a playoff spot. While neither of those events occurred since Brooklyn missed the postseason entirely, the Nets still made plenty of plays happen over the course of an underwhelming season.
As part of NBA Dunk Week, there was a video compilation put together of the Nets’ best dunks from the 2023-24 season to celebrate the occasion. For some numerical perspective, the Nets accumulated 353 dunks over the course of last season (20th in the NBA in the category) and those dunks accounted for 5.4% of their field-goal attempts (21st).
For any Nets fans that watched the season from beginning to end, they will remember certain dunks such as Nic Claxton’s buzzer-beating dunk against or when Dennis Smith Jr. jammed it on the Portland Trail Blazers. As a testament to some of the athletes on Brooklyn’s roster, Lonnie Walker IV had arguably one of the best dunks of the season against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Without further ado, here are some of the best dunks from the Nets over the course of last season:
