Santa Anita Park, which opened on Christmas Day 1934, will celebrate its 90th anniversary on Dec. 26 with the opening of its Classic Meet. In honor of the milestone, the public is asked to vote for the 13 “Top Moments” in track history to be featured in Santa Anita’s wall calendar. There are 15 nominations to choose from, which were selected by a panel of horse racing media veterans.
Voting on Santa Anita’s “Top Moments” will be open until Friday, Nov. 8 at 5 p.m. PT. The 13 top vote-getters will be featured in Santa Anita’s popular wall calendar, which is provided to on track patrons on Opening Day each year.
