HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department released surveillance video of a purse-snatching suspect in hopes the public will recognize the man involved.
The robbery happened on Oct. 19, 2024, at around 12:45 p.m. at a shopping center parking lot located at the 15900 block of S. Post Oak.
The video shows the suspect sneaking up behind the woman and forcibly grabbing her purse, which caused her to fall to the ground.
The man ran off with the purse, got into a light-colored four-door sedan, and fled the scene, police said.
Information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects may result in a cash payment up to $5,000.
Tipsters MUST contact Crime Stoppers directly to remain anonymous and to be considered for a cash payment by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), submitting an online tip at www.crime-stoppers.org or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app.
