ESCANABA — The results are in from the 3rd Annual Soo Line Steam Engine #730 Golf Scramble Fundraiser that was held on June 27 at the Escanaba Country Club.
Congratulations to the winning team with a score of 59 on the Par 72 course. The winning team sponsored by the Community Foundation for Delta County were made up of Bradley VanDamme, Earlene VanDamme, Eric VanDamme and Bob VanDamme.This is back to back wins for the VanDamme’s.
Special guest golfer again this year was Former Congressman Bart Stupak who flew in from Washington the morning of the event to support the local project of upkeep and lasting perpetual care of the Soo Line Steam Engine #730. The 3rd annual event saw an increase in golfers and sponsors.
