PORTLAND–The Utah Valley women’s golf team wrapped up its fall schedule with a seventh-place finish on the 10-team leaderboard at the Portland State Invitational, recording a three-round total of 54-over-par 918 (306-299-313) at Columbia Edgewater Country Club in Portland.
Chloe Jang led the Wolverines, tying for sixth place on the 64-player leaderboard with a 7-over-par 223 (75-74-74). Her final round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 second hole and a birdie on the par-4 ninth.
Valentina Zuleta finished tied for 12th with a 10-over-par 226 (74-74-78), carding birdies on the par-5 third hole and the par-5 14th hole in her final round.
Mia Pace placed 35th with a score of 18-over-par 234 (79-75-80). She recorded 10 pars in her final round.
Millie Terrion tied for 36th with a 19-over-par 235 (78-76-81). She birdied both the par-3 11th hole and the par-5 16th hole in her final round.
Pati Uluave finished 51st with a three-round 28-over-par 244 (81-78-85). She had 10 pars in her final round.
Competing individually, Rylie Rodriguez shot a final-round 78 and finished tied for 32nd with a 16-over-par 232 (73-81-78). Her final round featured a birdie on the par-4 sixth hole.
The Wolverines will kick off their spring slate by hosting the Wigwam Preview from Feb. 2-4 at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
