Conference tournament season is under way in college hoops, but all the power conferences are still winding down their regular season. Hunter Sallis Lower Than 1.5 Steals

Sallis enters this game averaging 1.2 steals per game this year. He’s gone lower than 1.5 steals in five of his last six games. Sallis has also gone lower than 1.5 steals in four of his last seven conference road games.

The Blue Devils are tough to take the ball away from. They only average 9.3 turnovers per game this year. That’s eight in the nation. Duke is even tougher at home.

Xavier Bell Higher Than 1.5 Turnovers

Wichita State heads to The Super Pit for a game against North Texas. Let’s roll with Wichita State guard Xavier Bell to go higher than 1.5 turnovers against the nasty Mean Green defense in Denton, TX.

Bell comes into this game averaging 1.9 turnovers per game. He’s exceeded 1.5 turnovers in five of his last seven games. Bell has also turned it over more than 1.5 times in six of his last seven road games.

North Texas defense generates 12.0 turnovers per game this year. However, they get a turnover on 17.2% of all possessions. That’s 52nd in the nation.

North Texas has one of the toughest home environments in Conference USA, and Bell has a knack for handing the ball over on the road this year. Look for Bell to struggle here, and lock him up in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry.

Matthew Nicholson Higher Than 4.5 Points

UCLA cruises into Evanston, IL for a game against the Wildcats. It’s Senior Night in Evanston, and center Matthew Nicholson is, in fact, a senior. They’re going to feed their senior big man just a little against UCLA.

Nicholson averages 5.4 points per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 4.5 points in three of his last five conference home games. Nicholson shoots only from inside the paint. He’s shooting 62.0% from the field this year.

UCLA struggles to defend the paint this year. On two-point shots, the Bruins allow opponents to shoot 51.5% this season. That’s 204th in the nation.

Nicholson is by no means a great scorer, but this is his last night in front of the fans in Evanston, and it’s a solid match up against a team that struggles to stop big men in the post. He only has to get two buckets and a free throw to go green in an Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry. Let’s lock up the senior with the good match up on a short slate.
