North Carolina visits Clemson tonight, and this is a great spot for Tigers big man Ian Schieffelin.
The Tar Heels enter this game allowing opponents to average 34.9 rebounds per game. That’s 202nd in the nation. They also allow opponents to dish out 13.3 assists per game. That’s 173rd in the nation.
Schieffelin averages 8.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 10.5 rebounds and assists in 15 out of 24 games played this year. He also played North Carolina twice last year, and cleared 10.5 rebounds and assists in both games.
North Carolina is a little soft on the inside, and Schieffelin is really good at cleaning the glass and setting up teammates. Make sure you go higher on his rebounds and assists total in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry tonight.
Fresno State takes a trip to Reno, NV for a match up with Nevada. The Fresno State Bulldogs allow opponents to grab 41.7 rebounds per game. This is a great spot for Nevada forward Nick Davidson.
Davidson enters this game averaging 6.6 rebounds per game at home this year. He’s gone higher than 5.5 rebounds in 12 out of 23 games played this year. Davidson also played against Fresno State last month and racked up a season high 14 rebounds against the Bulldogs.
Fresno State is one of the worst rebounding teams in the nation, and this number is oddly low for tonight’s match up. Let’s ride with Davidson and the oddly low number. Lock up the higher total on Davidson rebounds in your Underdog Fantasy college basketball entry for February 10th.
Fresno State forward Alex Crawford may be in for a tough night against the Nevada Wolfpack.
Crawford comes into this game averaging 3.6 rebounds per game on the road. He’s gone lower than 4.5 rebounds in 14 out of 22 games played this year. Crawford played 44 minutes against Nevada back in January, and only managed to pull down four rebounds.
Nevada only allows opponents to snag 30.0 rebounds per game. That makes them the 10th toughest team on the boards in the nation.
Crawford is more of a shoot first forward. He also doesn’t really play around the rim due to his lack of bulk. Nevada should keep him off the boards in the Bat Cave, and he should stay under 4.5 rebounds in this one.
